"Our 29th Year Serving Youth In Mecklenburg County"
Cottage and facilities, and showed renovations
that are taken place.  The Cottage has been re-
roofed, the floors are in the process of being
redone.  Optimist members joined together in
cleaning windows, cutting shrubbery, and
general cleanup around the cottage.
After cleanup was completed, lunch was
served, and Optimist Clubs in attendance were
recognized.  Gladys Highland, (HVO President)
was presented painting for the club having the
most members in attendance from the North
Carolina West District.  The visit from HVO was
organized by Jean Worsley.  Members from
HVO in attendance were Gladys & Richard
Highland, Jean & Rudy Worsley, Azivia Little
(van driver), Ann Hare, Ron Hare, Henry
McCown, Charles Hodges and Everett L.
Adams.
